It can indeed be easier to just ask a new man what he wants, better that than get it totally wrong and end up with a ‘oh its just what I always wanted’! Sometime shopping for a gift is easy because as soon as you see the right pressent you know, and that it just that. the rest of the time you might be better of asking – he was proabably thinking of asking you anyway!

I for one am a believer that when someone goes out of their way to buy a special present, it shows that you care alot about this person. Buying a gift voucher or giving someone some cash instead indicates that they are not really worth the time and effort in buying something unique.

I was in the same situation last year, not knowing what to get my boyfriend for Christmas. I was very careful to everything he said, when we were going through malls, just in case he might give me a hint… but nothing.

I ended up asking him what he wants for Christmas, so he got exactly what he wanted. It’s never a bad idea to just ask him what he wants.
