Christmas Gifts for the Office
Finding a Christmas gift for the office poses many challenges. There are different types of people in the office some people celebrate other holidays during this season while others prefer not to celebrate Christmas at all. It becomes important to take everyone into consideration.
Many offices welcome a Christmas gift for the office while others prefer to avoid making a big deal out of the religious holiday. Considering the atmosphere will help you decide if giving a Christmas gift for the office is a good idea in the first place.
Gift baskets as Christmas gift idea for office
We have a small group of employees and all celebrate the holiday season so choosing to give a Christmas gift for the office was a great idea for our office and we decided to create a huge holiday basket filled with a handful of smaller baskets. The smaller baskets are filled with great treats for the staff.
Since there are only a few employees in the entire building I had no problem putting together one Christmas gift for the office that can be broken down into smaller gifts. The huge basket will be left in the office for decoration and for holding plants. The smaller baskets in the Christmas gift for the office go to each employee.
Finding the items to create this interesting arrangement was not difficult. You can find over sized baskets at just about any craft store. The smaller baskets are very easy to find and inexpensive. The challenge in this Christmas gift for the office is filling the baskets with meaningful items.
Coffee Mugs as Christmas Gifts for the Office ?
We definitely didn’t want to go with coffee mugs as we get these items at just about every office function. It was difficult to come up with an idea but it was really worth it and we decided to combine food and sentimental items to create the perfect Christmas present for the office that has a personal touch of my own.
Food Items are good Idea
We chose food items like vinegars, oils and sauces for one of the baskets and chose chocolate for the two chocolate-loves and different kinds of specialty coffees for the coffee lovers in the group. Each employee also received a personalized frame for pictures of their loved ones in this Christmas gift for the office.
Ready made or self made gift baskets
It would have been easy to buy ready made basket arrangements but since I always communicate that we work as a team this personalized Christmas gift for the office represents that we are one unit but we still retain our individuality as well. This Also leaves an impression on the employees that some one does care for them.

I am hoping to get my colleagues interested in the secret santa idea this year. Money is quite tight for quite a few of us so this way we only have to buy one gift.

Gifts in offices can always be hard because they are normally so many people to take in to account and so many different types of people. Gift cards are normally good and go well with other things like food hampers or custom stationary.
